The Aprilia RS 457 has gained an even more focused new version. Introducing the RS 457 GP Replica, combining MotoGP-inspired graphics with additional equipment designed to enhance the lightweight sports-bike experience.
This is more than a new colour scheme. The GP Replica comes equipped with an electronic quickshifter as standard, allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts for faster, smoother gear changes. Higher-friction front brake pads have also been fitted to provide an even more immediate braking response.
Its special specification is completed by a passenger-seat cover and black finishes for the aluminium frame, swingarm and upper steering yoke. Gloss and matt black surfaces are joined by graphics inspired by Aprilia’s RS-GP prototype, giving the motorcycle an unmistakable factory-replica appearance.
Underneath the new design remains the accomplished foundation of the RS 457. Its 457cc parallel-twin engine produces 35 kW, placing it within the A2 licence limit while delivering strong and accessible performance. With a dry weight of just 159 kg and an aluminium frame, the RS 457 has been engineered to provide responsive handling without becoming intimidating.
Ride-by-wire throttle control supports three riding modes, while adjustable traction control allows the rider to tailor the electronics to their experience and the conditions. A five-inch TFT display presents riding information through a modern, easy-to-read interface.
Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a radially mounted four-piston ByBre calliper, supported by dual-channel ABS. Adjustable front and rear suspension also allows the setup to be refined to suit the rider.
The result is an A2-compatible sports bike with genuine visual impact and meaningful equipment upgrades. For riders who want lightweight performance with the appearance of an Aprilia racing machine, the RS 457 GP Replica makes a compelling case.
