New Aprilia SR GT 400: Built for More Than the Daily Commute

Aprilia has expanded its distinctive crossover scooter range with the new SR GT 400, bringing increased performance, more substantial road presence and genuine long-distance capability to the SR GT family.
Designed for riders who want the convenience of an automatic scooter without sacrificing engaging handling, the SR GT 400 combines everyday practicality with the character and chassis expertise associated with Aprilia’s motorcycles.
At its heart is a new 400cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 36 hp. With a fully fuelled weight of 186 kg, the SR GT 400 delivers responsive acceleration while remaining manageable around town and stable at higher speeds.
Its chassis has been developed to work across a wide range of riding conditions. A 41mm upside-down front fork is matched with twin rear shock absorbers, while the 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels provide a balance of agility and stability. Ground clearance of 190mm further supports its crossover character, making it better suited to rougher surfaces than a conventional urban scooter.
Technology is equally comprehensive. A five-inch colour TFT display presents key information clearly, while keyless operation makes everyday use more convenient. Traction control and ABS provide additional reassurance and can be adjusted to suit different riding conditions.
Full LED lighting gives the SR GT 400 a distinctive road presence, while its protective bodywork and relaxed riding position make it equally suited to commuting, weekend rides and longer journeys.
