Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary: A Quarter-Century of GT Style

Piaggio is celebrating 25 years of the Beverly with a new special edition that combines details inspired by the original model with the performance and technology of the latest generation.
The Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary 400 is based on the Beverly S but receives an exclusive specification created to distinguish it from the rest of the range.
Its dedicated Grigio 25th Anniversary colour is a dark grey metallic finish complemented by a lighter graphic extending along the bodywork. A smoked flyscreen recalls one of the recognisable features of the early Beverly, while gloss black finishes and subtle gold detailing give the special edition a more sophisticated appearance.
The anniversary treatment continues with a dedicated dual-material seat featuring contrasting stitching. A special 25th Anniversary badge, complete with an Italian tricolour detail, completes the design.
Performance comes from Piaggio’s 400 hpe single-cylinder engine, producing 26.4 kW and 37.7 Nm of torque. Combined with a continuously variable automatic transmission, it delivers the smooth, accessible performance needed for busy urban journeys as well as longer-distance riding.
Large-diameter wheels remain central to the Beverly’s character. A 16-inch front wheel is matched with a 14-inch rear, helping to provide stability without compromising low-speed manoeuvrability. Braking is provided by a 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc, supported by ABS and ASR traction control.
The riding position, protective bodywork and 12-litre fuel tank make the Beverly suitable for more than short city trips. It offers the practicality of a scooter while providing the road presence and stability associated with a larger GT machine.
After 25 years, the Beverly continues to occupy its own space between an agile high-wheel scooter and a comfortable grand tourer. The 25th Anniversary edition celebrates that identity with a specification that is both distinctive and usable.
