An award winning, family owned and run business that has been selling and servicing motor vehicles since 1952. We became a Harley-Davidson franchise in 2003, selling and servicing the complete range of bikes. Our service levels have been recognised by The Motor Company with Harley Davidson ‘Bar and Shield’ awards. Since becoming an official Harley-Davidson dealer, we have met a lot of devotees to the Milwaukee legend. In 2021 we added the Yamaha franchise to the site and expanded the workshop facility, with a newly repurposed 6 ramp workshop and MOT facility.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an additional fully qualified Motorcycle Technician to join our team in Uppingham.
The Role
Responsible for servicing and repairing predominately Harley-Davidson motorcycles as well as preparing new and used motorcycles for retail sales, whilst maintaining health and safety standards.
You must be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as the ability to liaise and discuss technical explanations in a manner that is easily understood by a customer.
Key skills:
- Technical excellence of modern motorcycles and scooters.
- Be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards
- Hold a full A category motorcycle licence
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week over 5 days, specifically, Monday & Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00, Tuesday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 with an unpaid interval of 60 minutes for lunch.
Salary:
Competitive based on experience with an OTE of up to £40,000 per annum through our generous bonus scheme for the more experienced, qualified applicants.
